HEY, I'M vanessa
The founder and dreamer behind Pilates Flow & Cue.
Whether you’re figuring out your new home reformer or finding your voice as an instructor, I’m here to help you connect the dots between the exercise, the muscles, and the purpose behind each movement.
We’re all forever students. Let’s keep moving, learning, and growing together.
I would never have believed my love for Pilates could help others find their confidence.
I’m a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor with a love for movement and understanding the muscles behind it. What started as my own Pilates practice grew into a passion for helping others feel more confident in theirs.
I created Pilates Flow & Cue to bring together the things I love most: feel-good flows, approachable education, and those little “oh, now I get it!” moments.
We’re all forever students.
Let’s keep moving, learning, and growing together.
One of my favorite things about Pilates is that there’s always something new to discover. An exercise you’ve done a hundred times can feel completely different with a small adjustment, a new cue, or a better understanding of the muscles involved. I still have those “aha” moments in my own practice, and they remind me that progress isn’t always about doing something harder. Sometimes, it’s about noticing something you hadn’t before.
That curiosity is at the heart of Pilates Flow & Cue.
Whether you’re learning your first footwork series or teaching a room full of clients, you don’t have to have it all figured out. My hope is to give you the tools and encouragement to keep exploring, ask questions, and build confidence along the way. I’ll be right there learning with you.
My journey started as a manager at Club Pilates.
Being surrounded by movement, instructors, and members inspired me to take the next step:
Teacher training. Becoming an instructor gave me a deeper appreciation for Pilates—and just how much there is to learn. From anatomy and exercise foundations to cueing and class planning, I discovered how many pieces come together to teach with confidence.
I’ve become passionate about making that learning process easier to understand.
I love breaking down which muscles are working, finding simple ways to explain a movement, and helping new instructors connect the dots. That excitement inspired Pilates Flow & Cue: a place to share what I’m learning and help you build your understanding, one movement at a time.
I'm on a mission
I'm on a mission to make Pilates feel easier to understand, whether you’re stepping onto your home reformer or preparing to teach your next class. Through approachable workouts, simple muscle breakdowns, and practical cueing ideas, I want to help you connect what you’re doing with why it matters—so you can move with intention, teach with confidence, and keep finding joy in learning.
"Stay curious, keep moving, and give yourself room to grow."
I'm all about
Making Pilates click. Simple explanations, thoughtful movement, and those little “aha” moments that build your confidence.
I'm not about
Complicating things just to sound impressive or making you feel like you should already know everything.
